DMCA Policy — CalcCrate

CalcCrate respects intellectual property rights and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512, the “DMCA”). This page explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement and how affected parties can submit a counter-notification.

Note: CalcCrate does not offer user accounts or uploads. However, we may host or display content and embed third-party assets (e.g., libraries, images, ads). If you believe any material available via CalcCrate infringes your rights, please follow the steps below.


1) Designated Agent

Send DMCA notices and counter-notifications to our Designated Agent:

Email is preferred for fastest handling. Notices sent to other addresses may not be received.


2) How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

To request removal or disabling of access to allegedly infringing material, your notice must include:

  1. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or a representative list).

  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g., exact URL).

  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for email).

3) What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Incomplete or invalid notices may be rejected.


4) Counter-Notification (If You Believe a Mistake Occurred)

If your material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification that includes:

  1. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  2. Identification of the material removed or disabled and the location (URL) where it appeared before removal.

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Denver, Colorado if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.

  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

5) Repeat Infringer Policy

Where applicable, it is our policy to terminate or restrict access for users determined to be repeat infringers. Because CalcCrate does not provide user accounts, we may instead block access to particular resources or disable specific sources of content.


6) Misuse of the DMCA

Knowingly submitting false claims or counter-notifications may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).


7) Subpoenas & Information Requests

CalcCrate does not maintain user accounts. We may, however, maintain standard server logs. We respond to valid legal process and applicable law enforcement requests.


8) Standard Technical Measures

We accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures recognized by the online content industry that are used to identify or protect copyrighted works, consistent with the DMCA.


9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above will be revised accordingly.
